Book an audit
The audit

A 7-day diagnosis of your business operations.

Paid, structured, and pointed at what is actually costing you time. You walk away with a plan whether you proceed with us or not.

What it is

A paid, standalone deliverable. Not a sales call.

The audit pays for itself in the document alone. Most people who buy it also proceed; the ones who don't still leave with a plan they can run with.

Yes

A diagnosis

We map your operations end-to-end, surface the friction, and name the highest-leverage workflow to fix first.

Yes

A written deliverable

A 6-10 page report you could forward to your team or board. Brand-aligned, decisive, specific.

Yes

A recommendation

By the end of the findings call you know what to fix, who's right to fix it, and what it costs.

No

A free consultation

Free calls attract tyre-kickers. The £395 fee is the filter, and it's what makes the deliverable worth our time and yours.

No

A strategy deck

No 30-page slide tour. The report is short, dense, and pointed at the next 90 days.

No

A pitch in disguise

If the right next step is us, we'll say so. If it isn't, we'll route you out. The audit fee is retained either way.

The process

Seven days. Fixed calendar. Operator pace.

The cadence is non-negotiable. It's the first proof point that we run on operator time, not consultancy time.

Day 0

Sale + onboarding

Within 60 seconds of payment you receive the questionnaire, a Cal.com booking link, and a what-to-expect doc. Discovery call is auto-scheduled inside 48 hours.

Day 1

Discovery call

We walk through your day-to-day, drill into the two or three biggest pain points, and inventory every tool you use. You speak 70% of the time.

Day 2

Cadence rest day

Intentional whitespace. Audit work is mentally heavy. One day off keeps quality high through to delivery.

Days 3 to 4

Investigation

We verify and deepen what you told us. Industry benchmarks, competitive landscape, Companies House data. We surface five to eight opportunities, including at least one you didn't mention.

Day 5

Report writing

The 6 to 10 page report is drafted: process map, opportunity matrix, tool stack assessment, 30 / 60 / 90 day roadmap, and the named recommendation.

Day 6

Delivery

Report lands in your inbox 24 hours before the findings call. Three sentences in the email. The document speaks for itself.

Day 7

Findings call

Working session, not a document reading. You arrive having read it. We discuss the recommendation, agree the next step, and commit a date. Decisions made on the call.

The deliverable

An eight-section report you would forward to your team.

Tight. Specific. Nothing generic. Every quantified claim is sourced from the discovery call or independent research.

01

Cover

Branded, dated, named. The first proof point.

02

Executive summary

One page. Where you are, what it costs you, what to do, each in a single sentence.

03

Current state process map

Visual SVG of two to four workflows with friction points marked. The diagram you forward to your team.

04

Opportunity matrix

Five to eight opportunities plotted on impact and effort. The top quadrant becomes the priority list.

05

Tool stack assessment

Every tool you use, what it does for you, what's redundant, what's missing. Most clients are surprised by this page.

06

30/60/90 roadmap

Foundational, build, optimise. Three phases, each with named deliverables and rough effort.

07

Recommendation

Specific. Named suite or service. Named price. Named start date. Audit credit applied.

08

Back cover

Contact, audit credit reminder, scheduled findings call. The handover, not a goodbye.

What you walk away with

Four things, by the end of week one.

01

A written deliverable you'll actually use

Six to ten pages, branded, decisive. You could implement it without us and still benefit.

02

A clear recommendation with a specific next step

By the time the findings call ends you know what to fix, who's right to fix it, what it costs, and when it could start.

03

The experience of being taken seriously

Most owners have never been the subject of a written diagnosis of their own business. The act of being studied, properly, is memorable on its own.

04

A sense of momentum

Seven days from booking to delivery. The cadence proves we operate on operator time, not consultancy time. Things are moving.

Pricing

One price. One product. £200 credited if you proceed.

Introductory rate

£395

Paid up front. Not a deposit. Not a sales call. A genuinely useful standalone deliverable. £200 of the fee is credited toward any recurring or strategic follow-on engagement booked inside thirty days.

The £200 audit credit applies only to recurring or strategic engagements. It does not apply to one-off productised packages.

FAQ

Common questions.

What happens if I don't proceed with you after the audit?

Nothing awkward. The report stands on its own. You can implement what's in it without us. The £395 is retained. Most clients find a referral or a recommended next step elsewhere even if we're not the right fit.

Who actually runs the audit?

We run every audit ourselves. The discovery call, the analysis, the recommendation, the findings call. Research and admin sit behind our paperclip agents. The thinking is human.

What's not included?

Implementation. Ongoing advisory. Anything beyond the seven days. If you proceed with us on a recurring or strategic engagement, £200 of your audit fee is credited toward it. The credit doesn't apply to one-off productised packages.

How quickly can we start?

Discovery call inside 48 hours of payment. Findings call seven days after that. If you book early in the week, you have the report before the following weekend.

Will the recommendation point me toward your suites?

Sometimes. Sometimes not. The audit reveals the right next step; we present it honestly. If a bespoke retainer, a one-off project, or a clean exit is the better answer, we say so.
